empty.tokyo — private, non-commercial, invite-only
This site is operated privately with no commercial interest. Here is what we store and why.
What we store
- Account: Email, username, password (hashed — never readable).
- Profile (optional): Display name, bio, pronouns, location, avatar/banner URLs, links.
- Content: Forum posts, messages, reactions.
- Technical: Last-seen timestamp (for online status), IP address (spam/abuse prevention only).
- Cookies: Session token, language preference, reduced-motion setting. No tracking, no ads.
Who sees your data
Your data is stored on Neon (database) and served via Vercel (hosting). Transactional emails go through Resend. No data is sold or shared beyond what is necessary to run the site.
Your controls
You can export or permanently delete your account at any time under Settings.
